Position Purpose: This Manager Decision Analytics position manages people and processes related to the development of advanced analytics to support the company's strategic objectives. The role works cross-functionally with business partners from Merchandising, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Online and IT to design and implement decision analytics, tools, and new visibility/reporting capabilities. This role has responsibility for creating analytics, translating business questions to actionable insights, supporting ongoing analytical needs, designing new analytical platforms and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality analytics solutions for the Home Depot. This role is expected to leverage effective communication skills to translate complex analyses into understandable insights, with a passion to learn and develop. The PLA Pricing team develops pricing and yield optimization systems which support Orange Apron Media's (OAM's) Product Listing Ad (PLA) business. This involves statistical and ML solutions written in Python & SQL. These solutions are then orchestrated at scale using Google Cloud Platform services such as Dataform and Composer. This role interfaces heavily with the Strategy, Product, and Engineering teams that also support the PLA business. Strong technical communication skills are needed for collaboration and to translate business asks into technical deliverables.
