This position will work onsite on a regular basis. Collaborates with senior leaders to develop strategic plans and objectives. Supervises Imaging IT analysts, which support mission-critical clinical applications used by UCSF physicians and clinical staff. This includes (but is not limited to) Voice Recognition Systems, PACS, Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA), Enterprise Image Viewer, and other imaging post-processing systems. Collaborates with UCSF Clinical Systems in developing patient-centric imaging solutions and procedures. Manages Service Delivery to all Imaging IT customers. Supports small project management and maintains good ITIL and SDLC practices. Assists in managing the Imaging IT Application portfolio. Erroneous decisions will have a serious impact on the overall success of the department, division and the organization. The incumbent develops staff to ensure consistent, technology-competent service across all areas of the Imaging IT. The applications Imaging IT supports are used by the Medical Center to acquire, store, report, and distribute imaging studies. The incumbent must have expert-level imaging informatics, leadership, and communication skills. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $166,600 - $249,000 (Annual Rate).
