About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring the brand standard of remarkable experiences and exceptional hospitality to our guests. Manages, plans, designs and coordinates all organizational phases of the restaurant operation that contribute to 100% guest satisfaction .Diverse, fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-project coordination, prioritizing and flexing to accommodate last minute requests and changes. Salary $80K-$90K

Requirements

  • Strong leadership, communication and management skills

  • Well versed in all aspects of restaurant operations
  • Knowledgeable in profit and loss statements
  • College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum three year’s work experience in a high-volume Food & Beverage managerial role.
  • Knowledge in all phases of Food & Beverage management.
  • NJ CER REQUIRED

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for communicating to department heads in Culinary, Beverage and supporting departments
  • Responsible for implementing and monitoring service standards for the Food & Beverage departments and promotes excellence in guest service
  • Oversees the execution of service delivery, product quality and provides dedicated leadership to the outlets
  • Ensures food and beverages are prepared and served according to the desired portions and quality specifications
  • Advises customer on selection of food and beverage items
  • Supervises all dining room personnel within the dining facility
  • Responsible for establishing department training standards and ensures staff behavior and appearance are in compliance with established policy
  • Conducts periodic monthly, and weekly training for Managers, Supervisors and Line team members
  • Responsible for maintaining all Food & Beverage training manuals and new hire on-boarding materials
  • Maintain staffing levels and schedules to ensure a cost efficient, productive environment
  • Participates in the financial operating and capital planning process and makes recommendations that achieve desired financial results for restaurant and bar operations
  • Responsible for meeting profit goals of the department
  • Advises Director Food & Beverage regarding analysis of operating results, food and beverage costs, budgets and forecasts
  • Assists with the development of marketing strategies to meet budgets
  • Delivers clear direction to staff regarding the current and future objectives of restaurant operations
  • Maintains good relations with all departments involved with marketing food and beverage and sales development
  • Maintains accurate records dining room and beverage labor costs, expenses to china, glassware, flatware and current departmental time log
  • Ensures all inventory activity is maintained in compliance with Casino Hotel Alcohol Beverage control
  • Ensures adherence to all Board of Health standards and all other applicable regulations.
  • Communicates and coordinates operations with restaurants, kitchen, stewarding and cashiering departments
  • Endorses the business and service objectives, ethics and values of the company
  • Ensures that all guest complaints are handled in a courteous and professional manner
