Why This Role Rocks As the Manager, Restaurant Systems Implementation, you’ll lead the technology that powers the in‑store experience across all three Texas Roadhouse brands. This is a high‑impact leadership role where IT meets operations—you’ll drive system deployments, new store openings, and technology stability at scale while partnering closely with product teams, operators, vendors, and contractors. The Manager owns the IT New Store Opening installation and validation process, coordinating with key vendor partners and contractors to ensure successful execution. The role also provides technical leadership by supporting escalations and resolving complex Tier 1 and Tier 2 issues. Strong customer service and leadership skills are essential. The Manager oversees all hardware and software releases using tools such as PDQ, Ansible, and others, and is expected to analyze technical issues end-to-end, driving them through to resolution. Accountability includes establishing and scaling a Problem Management program to improve overall system stability. This is an on site hybrid role at the Texas Roadhouse Support Center located in Louisville, Kentucky

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Technology
  • 3+ years of experience leading and developing teams
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations (casual dining experience a plus)
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and accountability skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Experience managing distributed, networked environments (Active Directory, GPOs, patching, MDM, SCCM, etc.)
  • Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow and endpoint management tools
  • Scripting experience (PowerShell, batch files, HTML, JavaScript)
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Nice To Haves

  • POS experience preferred
  • Certifications such as ITIL or PMP are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Restaurant Systems Implementation Team through coaching, feedback, and day‑to‑day people management
  • Own IT system deployments, upgrades, and patching across all restaurant brands
  • Manage the New Store Opening installation and validation process from end to end
  • Partner with IT Product teams to support technology roadmaps and operational goals
  • Oversee hardware and software releases using tools like PDQ, Ansible, and Workday
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical issues
  • Establish and scale a Problem Management program to improve system stability
  • Drive incident reviews, post‑mortems, root cause analysis, and trend analysis
  • Manage and support 10,000+ endpoint devices in a distributed restaurant environment
  • Communicate directly with Operators and leadership on deployments, timelines, and escalations
  • Coordinate closely with multiple vendors and contractors on projects and rollouts
  • Leverage ServiceNow for ticket tracking, issue resolution, and continuous improvement
  • Develop scripts and automation to streamline deployments and releases
  • Maintain accurate documentation and knowledge base content
  • Deliver legendary customer service while supporting stores during normal and non‑standard business hours
