About The Position

The Production Scheduling Manager is responsible for managing, constructing, and coordinating the weekly site production schedule. This role works cross-functionally with supply chain resources, aligns with customer planners, and ensures production operations are optimized to meet customer demand.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED or education plus work experience in lieu of education.
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environment within supply chain management, scheduling, or production planning.
  • Prior experience reporting on key production metrics.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and WMS systems.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Experience leading planning meetings and working cross-functionally with operations and customers.
  • SAP experience strongly preferred.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated decision-making ability and results-driven mindset.
  • 3+ years of hands on people leadership experience directly managing a team of direct reports.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate weekly production schedules.
  • Generate weekly ME2L final and daily volume reports.
  • Collaborate with customers and site leadership on expectations.
  • Provide guidance to operations on schedule changes.
  • Lead weekly planning meetings.
  • Review schedules to determine inventory, staffing, and procedural requirements while considering labor and time constraints.
  • Partner with technical/administrative staff to resolve production issues.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Enforce safety standards and report noncompliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
