About The Position

The Manager of Scholarship Services manages data and reporting for College Now’s scholarship programs, which includes over $9 million in annual scholarship awards to over 3,000 recipients from more than 200 donor sources. This position ensures data accuracy and compliance related to reporting, invoicing, disbursement, and recordkeeping. The Manager collaborates with internal teams to enhance systems and processes that best support scholarship recipients.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement improvements to data tracking systems and communication strategies.
  • Research tools and technologies to advance departmental systems and processes.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across all scholarship funds.
  • Propose and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Oversee timely and accurate scholarship disbursements.
  • Work with financial aid offices and College Now’s Accounting team to resolve issues for scholarship recipients.
  • Collaborate with College Now’s Data Services and program teams to analyze trends and enhance support for recipients.
  • Ensure policy and procedure documentation is accurate and updated.
  • Participate in scholarship selection by evaluating applications and advising on rubric design.
  • Manage and evaluate assigned scholarship programs from application to award as needed.
  • Provide data and insights to support communication with donors and external partners.
  • Train staff on scholarship systems, data accuracy, and reporting processes as needed.
  • Provide support and coaching to staff to resolve data and reporting issues.
  • Review scholarship data and reporting systems for accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain awareness of and compliance with federal, state, and financial aid regulations.
  • Stay current on software updates related to scholarship databases (e.g., Salesforce, SmarterSelect).
  • Work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
