Enterprise Jobs is a $2.2B revenue engine at the heart of LinkedIn’s hiring ecosystem. We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Jobs domain, owning the systems that power job creation, performance, and monetization, while modernizing the experience through AI-driven targeting, ranking, and insights. This is a high-visibility leadership role with direct revenue impact and deep cross-functional influence, shaping the next generation of AI-powered hiring.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in software engineering/technical management and people management.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in software design, development, and large-scale software engineering
  • Experience programming in object-oriented and/or functional programming languages(like Java/CPP/Scala/etc.)
  • Hands on experience developing distributed systems, databases, large scale data systems and/or Backend API's

Nice To Haves

  • MS or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline
  • 2+ years of hands-on software engineering/technical management and people management experience
  • 7+ years industry experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions.
  • 5+ years programming experience in languages such as Java, C/C++, C#, Python, Go, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of engineers, owning performance management, career growth, and day-to-day execution
  • Own significant areas of the Jobs domain, driving design, architecture, and hands-on technical direction for revenue-critical systems
  • Partner with senior leadership to shape and execute a long-term technology roadmap aligned to product and business strategy
  • Serve as a role model and coach with a strong bias for action and a deep commitment to engineering craftsmanship
  • Collaborate across teams to evolve and leverage a shared technical stack, ensuring alignment and scalability across the Enterprise Jobs ecosystem
  • Guide architectural decisions for distributed systems, balancing synchronous and asynchronous design patterns to optimize performance and reliability
  • Scale multi-tier, high-volume, user-centric applications that operate reliably 24x7

  • The pay range for this role is $152,000 to $248,000.
  • Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
  • The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
