About The Position

Walmart is looking for a Manager, Specialty Compliance and Ethics H&W - HIPAA Security. You will be responsible for working with cross-functional teams of business, development, and compliance partners to develop, implement, and maintain elements for a security compliance program for the organization’s compliance with HIPAA Security regulations and guidelines, particularly regarding the organizations access to and use of electronic protected health information (ePHI). Collaborating with operations, legal, compliance, security, privacy, and other relevant teams to develop relationships, establish effective and consistent communications, and ensure continued improvement of the HIPAA compliance program Developing training materials, policies, and procedures to address federal regulatory requirements and risks around HIPAA security/privacy Identifying, reporting, and addressing compliance concerns by identifying trends, collecting necessary data, and creating reports on findings Manage the delivery of an annual HIPAA Security Assessment and Risk Analysis responsible for measuring the company’s adherence to the HIPAA Security Rule Monitor and document the company’s remediation efforts for identified areas of non-compliance to the HIPAA Security Rule Modeling compliance with company policies and procedures and supporting company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans What you'll bring... You’re a subject matter expert in compliance concepts, with specific experience managing HIPAA security regulations.
