About The Position

This position responsible for executing consistently on all Starbucks core operating standards. Manages the operation and ensures legendary customer service to all customers. Responsible for the Starbucks experience by ensuring prompt service, quality beverages and products. Diverse, fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-project coordination, prioritizing and flexing to accommodate last minute requests and changes. Starting Salary $65K-$70K

Requirements

  • Strong leadership, communication and supervisor skills
  • Literate and fluent in English
  • Must be able to positively influence staff and create a team atmosphere
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must be accurate and detail oriented with the ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to act quickly and exercise good judgment under pressure and/or conflict situations
  • Equivalent of two years college education within a related field preferred.
  • Minimum two years of high-volume, serving experience in the food and beverage field required.
  • Must have successfully completed Barista Training and advanced Store Training.
  • NJ CER LICENSE REQUIRED

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting store financial targets and understands the importance of individual impact on sales , revenue, cost/expenses
  • Responsible for actively building and retaining customer relations
  • Provides ongoing coaching to strengthen performance of staff, improving skills in needed areas
  • Responsible for the daily check control system, payroll and forecasting
  • Directs the daily work activities of assigned personnel within the outlet
  • Responsible for scheduling while maintaining a high standard of food service with the use of minimum man-hours
  • Establishes and administers training programs for the outlet. Counsels, guides and instructs assigned personnel in the proper performance of their duties
  • Coordinates the maintenance and development of methods for quality preparation of food and monitors appearance of food served; assists in the maintenance and development of procedures for food services and menu items for maximum customer satisfaction
  • Requisitions all supplies for the outlet
  • Interacts and coordinates with other departments to ensure flawless delivery
  • Ensures that all aspects of the outlet contribute to 100% guest satisfaction
  • Recommends changes including hiring, promotion and termination of assigned employees
  • Ensures retail areas are stocked and maintains a clean and safe work environment
  • Adheres to all Board of Health standards and safety policies and procedures
