Samsung Electronic America’s Supply Chain Team is responsible for ensuring product availability to meet forecasted demand by the Sales Subsidiary. Forecasts are generated via consensus calls with Sales Teams, Marketing Teams, and with the Samsung Global Operations Center and tracked using spreadsheets, SAP, and Samsung Systems and Tools. Role and Responsibilities We are looking for an experienced and motivated Manager, Supply Chain Management to join the team at Samsung Electronics. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and execution of Samsung's global supply chain strategy and optimize its performance across the organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and a strong track record of delivering successful projects. They will have excellent communication and organizational skills and a passion for developing innovative solutions. The Manager, Supply Chain Demand Forecasting is responsible for leading one product category and supporting a range of products and SKU’s and working with other Planners within the Department. The manager will also help define and support strategic projects on behalf of the Supply Chain Team, generate and present reports for Executive Management, and represent the SCM Team with other Departments The Supply Chain Manager will be the primary point of contact for all supply related issues related to their product category at the Sales Subsidiary. They will also interact closely with Customers and with internal teams including Management.
