HISTORY Founded in 2021 and officially launched in 2022 with the eight-event LIV Golf Invitational Series, 2025 was our third 14-event season as the LIV Golf League. The format respects golf’s history and traditions with updates for modern-day sports fans; four days, 72 holes, no cut, shotgun start, and simultaneous Team and Individual competitions, offering a faster tournament that drives engaging storylines and offers an immersive fan experience. The League’s award-winning events, each wholly owned and operated by LIV Golf and broadcast to over 900 million homes across 200 international territories, showcase world-class competition happening at LIV Golf’s 14 global events. Music entertainment, food, live concerts, family-friendly activations and offer a festival-like atmosphere. ROLE OVERVIEW The Manager, Team Portfolio Support plays a critical role in enabling the success of LIV Golf’s teams by ensuring seamless execution of player-related commitments across events and business initiatives. This role serves as a central point of coordination between athletes, team General Managers, internal stakeholders, and commercial partners, ensuring all contractual obligations are accurately tracked, communicated, and fulfilled. The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-oriented, and comfortable navigating multiple stakeholders while maintaining a detailed and up-to-date database of player usage, agreements, and commitments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in sports operations, athlete management, partnerships, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of contracts, athlete agreements, and partnership obligations (experience working alongside Legal preferred).
  • Exceptional organizational skills with proven experience managing complex data and schedules.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to navigate and influence multiple stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Comfort working across live events, including travel and non-traditional work hours as required.

Responsibilities

  • Support player commitments at LIV Golf events (ACE), including tracking, coordinating, and delivering detailed schedules to Team General Managers.
  • Ensure player appearances, service days, autograph sessions, and other on-site commitments are planned and executed in alignment with contractual requirements.
  • Act as a trusted liaison between Team General Managers and internal departments to ensure smooth player activations.
  • Maintain and manage the most up-to-date database of deliverables within player agreements, partnership agreements, and athlete usage, including service days, appearances at LIV Golf events, and promotional obligations.
  • Track and monitor player contractual commitments to ensure all business obligations are met and documented accurately.
  • Support the VP, Team Portfolio Management in ensuring player assets are strategically utilized to drive business, commercial, and brand objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize player value while remaining compliant with contractual terms.
  • Work cross-functionally with Partnerships, Marketing, Events, Communications, Legal, and Operations to align on athlete usage and priorities.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders seeking clarity on player availability, obligations, and usage history.
  • Build strong working relationships with Team General Managers to ensure alignment and proactive communication.
  • Own and continuously improve systems and processes related to player tracking and contractual data management.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of athlete-related data across the organization.
  • Provide reporting, insights, and summaries to leadership on player usage, fulfillment status, and upcoming obligations.
