About The Position

The position of Manager of Telecommunications and Audio Visual will be reporting directly to the Director of IT Infrastructure. In this pivotal role, you will help shape the future of communications at Inspira Health, supporting both clinical and non-clinical departments such as Revenue Cycle, HR/Payroll, ERP, Finance, Integration, and IT Security. This is a hybrid position with at least 2 days on-site required in the Bridgeton office. Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of a competitive and industry-compliant telecommunications and audio-visual infrastructure across multiple facilities. Oversee the installation, optimization, and ongoing support of telecommunications systems, ensuring peak efficiency and reliability 24/7, 365 days a year. Develop and enforce telecommunications policies and collaborate with vendors and contractors on technology upgrades. Direct and mentor a dedicated team of telecommunications professionals, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and a commitment to high-quality customer service. Manage budgets, track performance metrics, and champion continuous process improvements to strengthen our communication environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related area preferred.
  • Experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
  • 5-8 years of experience managing, designing and implementing telecommunications technology with 3+ years of leadership/supervisory role.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with IP Telephony, VoIP, SIP Trunking, LAN/WAN, routing, firewalls, and quality of service (QoS)
  • Experience with managing and delegating multiple projects
  • Experience with managing team of 10+ engineers and/or technicians.
  • Advanced PC skills and use of Microsoft applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within a health care organization a plus
  • Preferred experience with the Avaya platform
  • Experience with 8x8 platform is a must.
