About The Position

The Manager, YouTube Ads is a full-time position responsible for managing end-to-end paid YouTube ad campaigns for Zeta clients. Responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of YouTube ad campaign setup & optimization, pacing management, reporting, and insights. You will serve as a subject matter expert and point of contact for the advertisers you’re managing. The role requires a combination of hands-on ad management as well as client communication. You will be entrusted with a significant level of autonomy to make informed operational decisions based on your knowledge of the Google Ads ecosystem. You will leverage your experience to position campaigns for success and find creative solutions to problems. This position reports to a Director in the Media Activation division, who oversees paid media for advertisers across Zeta’s business units. Depending on your location, this role will be remote or hybrid (NYC, Nashville, LA, San Francisco).

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Google Ads across all YouTube ad formats and objectives (Awareness, Consideration, and Conversion).
  • Hands-on experience in managing monthly campaign budgets of $50k+
  • Thorough understanding of Google Ads mechanics, including KPI optimization, audience targeting, pixel/tag implementations, and bid/budget management.
  • Proactive approach to campaign optimization and strategy.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong quantitative skills.

  • PMax and Demand Gen campaign management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own all aspects of YouTube ad campaign setup and optimization as the primary channel manager.
  • Manage YouTube and Demand Generation campaign formats in Google Ads/Google Ads Editor with various Awareness, Consideration, and Conversion objectives.
  • Act as the internal and external POC for live and upcoming campaigns, make proactive recommendations to achieve client KPIs, implement requested changes, and ensure client requests are operationalized.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaign execution aligns with client objectives.
  • Manage day to day tasks and responsibilities utilizing the team’s project management platform.
  • Monitor campaign pacing and adjust budgets and bids as necessary to deliver in full.
  • Deliver clear, data-driven performance reports and insights to clients.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of reporting.
