About The Position

Essential duties include but are not limited to: Client Advisory & Content Excellence Strategic leadership of 7-10 client accounts; leadership support within a pod (team and book of business) Conceptualize and execute bespoke strategies Oversee all materials and quality control Act as primary accountable party for day-to-day client relationship on all clients, with additional support from senior leadership as needed and for critical workstreams Responsibilities including but not limited to: Lead client calls and provide strategic counsel to senior executives on investor engagement, messaging, and market positioning with facility across clients of varying complexity (public, private, preclinical, clinical, commercial, etc.) Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics; can speak to experience with most IR situations and initiate changes in strategy when needed Draft and review technical corporate communications materials to client-ready standard including high-impact investor presentations, press releases, earnings scripts, etc. Oversee tactical delivery including more sophisticated research projects and targeting analyses, planning and execution of roadshows, meetings and other investor events Event planning and on-site support, including occasional travel Manage client engagements, retainers, budgeting and ensure accuracy of invoicing 75% utilization target for client billing Team Building & Mentorship Manage a team of junior staff, including development plans and annual reviews Train and mentor a high-performing team aligned with our collaborative and purpose-driven culture; oversee its growth and effectively and directly deliver feedback Foster professional growth and uphold principles of client service, purpose, accountability, mutual respect, and collaboration Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion Lead by example, balancing competitive drive with a spirit of collaboration and integrity Manage and approve time charges and utilization of direct reports Business Development & Market Positioning Support marketing and new business materials, help identify and pitch new business opportunities, contributing to firm growth and book of business Leverage a robust network of stakeholders to accelerate inbound opportunities Cultivate relationships with investors, analysts, and bankers to enhance visibility and credibility Subject matter expert on biotech/healthcare IR; can represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and investor forums and in social media and speaking engagements Strategic Leadership Manage and contribute to operational, growth and strategy initiatives for Precision AQ Proactively generate ideas and identify opportunities for clients and the firm, including thought leadership

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant depth of work experience (in directly relevant finance, healthcare, communications or consulting roles); agency experience ideal
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects from conception to completion on deadline in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to cultivate deep network within the investment community and biotech/healthcare ecosystem
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills; high standards of quality control and client service
  • Confident writer and presenter, comfortable in a variety of C-Suite scenarios, with ability to influence
  • Demonstrated ability to operate within a leadership team and manage a team
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Demonstrates subject matter expertise
  • Competent in technology-driven environments, including AI and various tools and platforms
  • Independent and collaborative; resourceful problem solver, quick learner
  • Experience with employee reviews, development plans
  • Proven ability to create marketing materials and pitch new business
