About The Position

Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Managing Director, Water/Wastewater to oversee the W/WW Division at our Headquarters facility in Millersville, MD. This position serves as a member of the MES executive management team, with principal responsibility for administration of water/wastewater activities including full service engineering, utility operations and maintenance, capital construction, pretreatment and research and development programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited educational institution plus 15 years or more of progressively responsible experience in administration of water/wastewater or public works services.
• Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points.
• The successful candidate will have strong communications, analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Must be able to interact effectively with internal and external clients and customers.
• Any offer of employment will be contingent upon successfully completing required pre-employment screens, to include full background check, drug & alcohol screening, and position appropriate physical.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• MES does not participate in programs that require sponsorship for work visas.
