Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. We are looking for talented technicians to help full-scale production of the Kuiper satellites. The Battery Technician II is a skilled production technician responsible for performing intermediate-level battery build, assembly, and test operations across assigned PODs. This role requires demonstrated proficiency in battery manufacturing processes, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The Battery Technician II is expected to: • Follow work instructions and safety procedures accurately and consistently. • Perform assembly of battery build and subassembly. Also assist with ATP • Identify, document, and escalate quality issues, defects, or MRB. • Communicate effectively across shifts and with Engineering, Quality, and Supervisory teams • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. • Participate in process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory. • Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated. • Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (Using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc) • You will independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables. • Your work may include contributing to improving SOPs and safety procedures.
