About The Position

Kerry, located in Vesper, WI, is currently looking to hire a first shift Manufacturing Assistant. This role is crucial as it involves providing ongoing and necessary support within our SAP processes. The Manufacturing Assistant will play a significant part in assisting with the completion of process orders and ensuring that any deviations are identified and corrected prior to Teco. Additionally, the role will involve heavy involvement within operations, making it an excellent opportunity for someone eager to contribute to our team's success.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• TECO - Technically Completing Production Orders
• Correcting and evaluating all Pos prior to moving to costing.
• Inventory - Balance IM materials
• Recipe Controller
• Tracking new hire vacation
• Confirm vacation is correct after 60 days
• Plant phone calls
• Check messages on switch board
• Manually turning on plant answer when not here
• New hire orientation - I9 (proof of citizenship)
• Maintain door swipe card for access
• Get mail from post office
• Balance & submit payroll remittance (union dues/united way)
• Payment/checks received @vesper, identify reason/enter code, record and forward
• Trex & Haycreek give checks (scanned and sent to corp for cashing)
• Meeting organization (breakfast/lunch for visitors)
• Ticket each year to update employee pay
• Employee filing (discipline, training records etc..)
• Sending discipline to union reps
• Admin work
• Requisitions monthly file
• Headcount report weekly
• Update sheet with leavers and new people
• Safety glasses vouchers
