Job Title: Manufacturing Associate Reporting To: Manager, Operations Excellence Work Schedule: Onsite – Galax, VA To be considered for a Manufacturing Associate role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you: HS diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all work instructions and training. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience working with equipment and/or plumbing systems. Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, applicable regulations and best practices related to industrial waste management. Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds to waist height. Able to safely work on ladders as required. Capable of maneuvering loaded 55‑gallon barrels using appropriate manual handling equipment. Strong record‑keeping abilities and effective communication skills. As a Manufacturing Associate, you will: Consistently use required PPE and follow all safety procedures. Work and train in compliance with environmental and safety regulations and Moog standards. Perform daily sampling and analysis of industrial wastewater. Operate the atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AA) for water testing. Conduct daily maintenance on filtration and pH‑balancing systems. Operate and maintain industrial wastewater treatment equipment, including filter press systems. Properly package, label, and control hazardous waste generated from treatment processes. Operate and maintain the deionized water system. Coordinate with lab technicians and production teams on chemical bath changes, hazardous waste containers, storage, and handling. Maintain accurate signage and documentation for hazardous waste satellite areas. Maintain and update written procedures for all job functions. Manage inventory of treatment chemicals, supplies, and package hazardous waste. Coordinate with EHS on hazardous waste classification and shipment logistics. Complete forklift training and routinely operate a forklift for handling hazardous waste barrels and incoming chemicals. Other duties as assigned

Requirements
