Manufacturing Controls EngineerResponsibilites: Responsible for the installation and technical support of PLC, HMI, safety, servo, and vision-based hardware and software including, but not limited to: RSLogix 500/5000, FT View Studio, C-More HMI, SICK FlexiSoft Designer, and COgnex Insight Explorer Develop and maintain equipment back up programs Maintain software and devises to interfae with all equipment Trouble shoot production equipment and work to reduce downtime Implement equipment predictive maintenance practices (TPM) Develop electrical design, schematics, and drawings in AutoCAD Interpret mechanical design drawings for electrical requirements Help establish new standards and maintain existing standards Stay current with the electrical code and communicate changes to the workforce Develop electrical bills of materials for planned projects and installations Power up electrical systems and configure hardware per application specifications Work with manufacturing engineers to provide input with quote preparation as required Participate in machine runoffs Verify maintainability of new eequipment
