Great Northern – Chippewa Falls is seeking a results-oriented, Manufacturing Coordinator to join our growing manufacturing team! Are you ready to make a difference? Our Manufacturing Coordinators Schedule- Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (daily schedule can be flexible) Our Manufacturing Coordinators are Responsible For:- Participates in pre-production meetings and utilizes technical expertise in the review of all components. Ensures items are set up to run correctly and efficiently.- Leverages technical expertise to advise team members, shares insights on solving challenges and identifies and helps address concerning trends.- Responsible for keeping all machine specifications up to date.- Coordinates production related continuous improvement activities/events that id in the optimization of the production environment.- Determines and/or verifies accurate and efficient machine routing and component layout.- Receiving art from numerous parties to verify the art could be successfully printed to customer and GNC standards.- Determines most efficient layouts for jobs. Reviews layouts with machine crews and/or supervisors for approval.- Conduct follow up with crews regarding layouts.- Collaborate and work closely with other manufacturing and account coordinators.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); four year degree preferred
1 to 3 years of related manufacturing or machine operating experience
Ability to develop a thorough knowledge of the capabilities of each machine
Technological skills required: computer data entry, computer-aided design, and graphics software, ability to learn and operate ERP systems.
A strong understanding of the importance of safety
A team player who is driven to learn every day
