This position provides an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment where cutting-edge aerospace and defense systems are built. As an integral part of our engineering team, you will work on real-world projects that drive quality, efficiency, and innovation in our production processes. Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run May/June- December (including the Fall semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity). This position will hybrid at the Santa Isabel site. Candidates must reside in Puerto Rico during the CO-OP period. Relocation is not offered. Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Responsibilities

  • Support the optimization of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput.
  • Assist in troubleshooting production challenges by analyzing root causes and identifying corrective actions.
  • Collect and analyze production data to support process validation, quality improvements, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, quality, and design engineering, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop and implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies and tools to monitor, control, and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring consistent quality and compliance with production standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards in all tasks.
