This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable. As part of a hardworking team of technicians, and engineers, you will build, integrate, test and operate the next generation of the New Glenn Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) labs. The HIL Manufacturing Engineer will serve as a critical link between our engineering design group and technician-based build staff. This role will convert complex engineering drawings into effective work instructions as well as structured Bills of Materials (BOMs) for procurement. The ideal candidate will provide practical insights for design and process improvements, participate in integration/testing, and drive resolution of assembly non-conformances.
