The Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for ensuring that the key engineering duties are being fulfilled for the area they support. They are responsible for answering technical questions, proposing budgets for projects, providing guidance and leadership to their team, constantly building talent and capabilities within the team in support of customer needs, and collaborating with various other departments. This position typically has direct supervision of between ten to fifteen engineering support staff, provides day-to-day work direction, and conducts formal performance evaluations. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering Experience: Five or more years of related Industrial Engineering experience and prior exposure managing a team, completing multi-variable work measurements and developing labor standards, process improvement initiatives, and network optimization projects within a distribution center environment. Travel: up to 30% based on company need Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
