You will work closely with design engineering, supply chain, quality, and operations to ensure products are built safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering for complex electromechanical systems
  • Experience supporting low- to medium-volume, high-mix products
  • Strong understanding of mechanical assemblies, electrical systems, and system integration
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications
  • Experience creating clear work instructions and training production technicians
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
  • Experience providing design engineers with DFM/DFA suggestions
  • Ability to interpret and manipulate 3D CAD models
  • Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with robotic systems, industrial automation, or material handling equipment
  • Experience with prototype builds and transitioning designs into production
  • Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, and fixture design
  • Experience with pneumatics, motion systems, sensors, and industrial controls
  • Six Sigma, Lean, or similar certifications
  • Ability to provide examples of demonstrable reduction in product costs, cycle times, or quality through DFM/DFA suggestions for a design and/or improvements to a production work cell.
  • Experience with Solidworks and/or Autocad
  • Experience supporting field installations or system commissioning

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, work instructions, tooling, and fixtures for robotic systems and subassemblies
  • Translate product designs into efficient, repeatable, and scalable manufacturing processes
  • Support new product introduction (NPI), including prototype builds, pilot runs, and production ramp
  • Collaborate with design engineers to influence DFM/DFA decisions and reduce cost, risk, and cycle time
  • Define build sequences, takt times, line layouts, and labor models
  • Identify and implement process improvements to improve quality, throughput, ergonomics, and safety
  • Troubleshoot production issues related to mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical assemblies
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality or manufacturing issues
  • Specify and validate tools, test equipment, and automation used in manufacturing
  • Support supplier manufacturing readiness and outsourced builds as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation including BOMs, routings, ECNs, and manufacturing records
