They will work closely with the Engineering team in the design verification and provide feedback for continuous improvement while supporting production shipments. Knowledge transfer to the volume manufacturing teams will also be a responsibility of this individual. In this role, you will: Integrate Practical Validation into Manufacturing Perform hands-on validation to confirm mechanical designs are production-ready. Provide early feedback to mechanical engineers on CAD designs, focusing on manufacturability, assembly efficiency, and risk reduction before release.• Oversee Assembly for Production Readiness Work directly with mechanical and manufacturing engineers during build and assembly to ensure designs translate cleanly to the production floor. Identify and resolve design or process issues early to prevent downstream rework.• Improve Manufacturing Processes Using Real-World Build Feedback Use insights from hands-on assembly and validation to drive manufacturing improvements. Simplify and streamline build steps, tools, fixtures, and workflows to improve efficiency without adding unnecessary complexity.• Develop and Maintain Clear Assembly Documentation Partner with manufacturing engineers to create clear, practical work instructions and build guides that accurately reflect real-world assembly and validation steps, ensuring consistency and repeatability in production.• Incorporate Field Feedback into Manufacturing Improvements Collaborate closely with Product Support Engineers to understand field issues and service challenges. Translate that feedback into manufacturing and design improvements that reduce errors, improve serviceability, and prevent recurrence.• Enhance Assembly and Service Clarity for End Users Improve labeling, fixtures, and assembly clarity so systems are easier to build, debug, and service.
