A Day In The Life Provide daily leadership and direction to your engineering team, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals are consistently achieved. Drive manufacturing improvements—including fixture design, tooling, machine utilization optimization, and layout redesign—to advance our operational capabilities. Lead by example in continuous improvement methodologies: Lean, A3 problem‑solving, Kaizen events, and the “My Ideas” program. Champion strategic objectives around Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Capital Investments. Research, evaluate, and justify new capital equipment to enhance manufacturing efficiency and capacity. Teach, mentor, and coach engineers at all levels, from onboarding new talent to developing seasoned team members. Foster strong alignment across production, design engineering, and project management for seamless execution of shared priorities. Identify, implement, and sustain cost‑reduction strategies across processes and systems. Drive team performance through clear expectations, coaching, and metrics that support continuous improvement.
