Manufacturing Maintenance Technician (Weekend Days)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: · Starts and shuts down injection molding machines. · Troubleshoots injection molding machines. · Assembles injection molds from start to finish for production runs. · Removes and installs plastic injection molds of varying sizes and complexities in molding machines according to work order specifications. · Sets up End of Arm tooling for robotic part removal. · Ensures proper materials are used at each machine by managing raw molding materials ensuring traceability and preventing contamination. · Provides molded components in a timely manner to ensure production schedules are met. · Maintains set-up records on tools, preventative maintenance and run profiles. · Troubleshoots and makes repairs to Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic Systems to a minimum of 120v unassisted and up to 480v assisted. · Performs minor repairs to plumbing systems. · Performs Preventive Maintenance on all equipment in assigned areas. · Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of Electrical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair systems using LOTO procedures.
- Ability to read and comprehend Technical Manuals for various types of manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to use CMMS, e-Mail, and various spreadsheet applications.
- Basic mechanical aptitude or interest in working with machinery.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with determining necessary tool accuracy to be appropriate with given tolerances.
- Strong understanding of and ability to apply measurement methods to inspection and/or testing.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Two (2) to five (5) years Manufacturing experience in a semi-skilled position preferred.
- Completion of Company provided Basic Technical Training Course within 18 months.
- Experience working in fast pace, high change environment.
