As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert for keeping our production lines humming. Your work will directly prevent costly downtime, improve efficiency, and ensure our products meet the highest standards. From troubleshooting complex machinery to implementing preventive maintenance programs, you’ll be the backbone of our manufacturing success.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems.
  • Proficient in reading technical manuals, blueprints and schematics.
  • Experienced in and around machine shop tools and fabrication tools including but not limited to Mills, Lathes, Grinders, Welding, etc.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Familiarity with CMMS software and preventive maintenance scheduling.
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently and or as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all manufacturing equipment, including blow molders (EBM,SBM) machines, conveyors, packers, and automated systems.
  • Handle situations which may require adaptation of response or extensive research. may require advanced problem solving.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using tools such as all types of hand and power tools including multimeters, PLC interfaces, etc.
  • Provide technical expertise and training to maintenance team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance.
  • Ensure that proper hand-off between shifts is conducted daily/nightly.
  • Ensure end of shift reports are maintained and properly filled out.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and update equipment records in our CMMS (MaintainX).
  • Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Able to effectively communicate issues to not only other team members but as well as to operational team.
  • Follow all safety protocols including LOTO, GMP, and PPE policies and contribute to a culture of workplace safety.
  • Responsible for food safety, food quality and site safety.
