About The Position

Understand the capacities and capabilities of our vendors, what it takes to be efficient as possible. Lead conversations with our vendors to ensure SanMar is accounting for production efficiencies when creating production plans. Create production plans through the lens of the manufacturer, accounting for efficient production and usage of capacities as well as maximizing margin dollars. Coordinate with Vendor partners to get up to date information and ensure they understand priorities. Map and track vendor capacities at each work center. Develop analytics to track how plans are being executed. Forecast style sales in deck meetings. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 4-6 years of experience tracking vendor efficiency and creating production plans
  • Experience with the different aspects of garment production.
  • Problem solving and teamwork skills to resolve issues.
  • Excel skills – managing large amounts of data, identifying exceptions and reporting KPIs.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills and background
  • Detail oriented individual with strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with little supervision.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Responsive to staff needs including professionalism, respect, and consideration of others.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to change in the work environment.
  • Be able to work under pressure within a time frame.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel

Benefits

  • Salary Range: You`ll earn between $80,170 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience.
  • Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.
  • Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.
