About The Position

Provide Process Engineering support for NFD Axle Carrier Assembly operations, leveraging experience with highly automated assembly line manufacturing processes to achieve production targets. Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to diagnose issues, implement corrective actions, and improve assembly processes and overall efficiency. We Take Care of Our Team Position offers a starting salary range of $90,000 – $115,000 USD Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience. ROLE IS FOR 3RD SHIFT What You Drive at DTNA Designs, develops, and implements new or revised production processes for the efficient/economical mass production of goods Designs the sequence of production operations, specifying procedures for the fabrication of applicable tools and equipment, and adapting machinery in response to factory conditions Conducts tests throughout all stages of production to determine control over applicable variables and troubleshooting/solving production problems Ensures that production processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations Interface with Quality personnel to provide direction on issues related to process and product quality Uses analytical thought to independently solve complex problems with minimal guidance and identify solutions Works independently within guidelines and policies to solve problems of moderate complexity Lead projects and problem solving activities to improve production efficiency through application of lean manufacturing methodology and tools Assist Maintenance in trouble shooting breakdowns and scheduling preventative maintenance Development of Standardized Work Instructions (SWI) Acts as an advisor to management and key external stakeholders on job field related projects Acts as a resource and guide for colleagues with less experience Uses experience to contribute to standards in which others will operate

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial or electrical engineering or engineering technology relevant
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Relevant exposure to assembly line processes within a plant setting
  • Exposure to Controls Engineering, PLC, assembly automated process with robots (FANU and/ or KUKA)
  • Exposure to various operations teams
  • Works well under pressure

Responsibilities
