About The Position

We are seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor who will assist the Manufacturing Manager in the comprehensive day-to-day activities of the production area. The candidate will be responsible for leading a team of hourly associates in the safety, productivity, and quality of a fast-paced manufacturing facility. Compensation and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience level.

Requirements

Basic understanding of manufacturing terminology and tools.
Basic knowledge of warehouse operations: production, shipping, receiving, inventory.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Microsoft Office skills.
Ability to be trained in powered equipment
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required to effectively support our diverse workface. This role includes responsibility for translating written and verbal communications to ensure clear, accurate and inclusive interaction among team members.
3+ years supervisory experience.
High School or GED.
Be on your feet for 10-12 hours
Able to lift 40 pounds unassisted.
Able to reach, bend, kneel and climb while performing repetitive tasks
Ability to work in hot and cold environments
Able to correctly wear PPE for entire shifts
Able to react and respond quickly to noises, smells, visual hazards, and alerts

Nice To Haves

1-3 years’ experience with inventory ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Manages human and material resources to meet production goals.
Lead FA’s for repetitive issues.
Responsible for productivity expectations.
Prepares and maintains production reports.
Monitors headcounts for optimal production output.
Manages the safety and cleanliness of the production area.
Delegates cleaning responsibilities to hourly temporary workers.
Ensure all workers within the area of responsibility wear PPE.
Coaches’ unsafe behaviors of production workers.
Responsible for the quality of manufactured products.
Monitors production lines to ensure products are produced to customer specifications.
Coaches’ production workers on food safe production and adherence to GMP’s.
