About The Position

Position Summary: The Manufacturing Team Member I (1st Shift) will be responsible for performing tasks including operating tools and machinery to produce dental consumables, used to restore teeth in a highly regulated environment. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday from 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Must be able to work overtime, when needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Under close supervision, follows work instructions to produce dental consumables including setting up equipment, weighing material, loading mixing equipment, monitoring process, and completing all required documentation per quality policies and procedures. Performs quality checks throughout the production process to avoid rework and scrapping of product and material. Assist with inventory management by immediately replenishing supplies and reporting a shortage of materials. Immediately report productivity and quality concerns to the appropriate personnel. Maintain a clean and organized work environment and report any issues or concerns related to safety immediately. Report damaged material, tooling and/or machinery to the appropriate personnel for prompt repair or replacement. Independently complete all required training via computer and attend any required in-person training. Adhere to all company policies and procedures including safety and quality. Read, comprehend, and comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Manufacturing Instructions (MIs). Participate in continuous improvement activities through the Envista Business System (EBS) including Kaizens, 5S events, Standard Work workshops, Kanban, and Kamishibai. Work overtime when needed. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of six months of relevant work experience required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English required.
  • Ability to read and interpret written instructions in English required.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Basic mathematical skills including calculating measurements required.
  • Ability to multitask required.
  • Familiar with good documentation practices required.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment required.
