About The Position

Become a part of Intel's Advance Packaging Team by joining the Advanced Packaging Technology Development: Substrate and Wafer Assembly (APTDSWA) organization. As an APTDSWA Manufacturing Technician in Advanced Packaging Technology & Manufacturing, you will perform functions associated with substrate production, including operations, equipment processes, and training.

Requirements

  • Candidates must meet at least one of the following requirements:
  • Associate degree in a technical field and 2+ years of experience in equipment maintenance or a related discipline.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
  • High School Diploma/GED or higher plus 4+ years of hands‑on manufacturing experience in a relevant technical environment.
  • High School Diploma/GED or higher plus 4+ years of military technical experience.
  • High School Diploma/GED or higher plus 2.5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance or a closely related technical field.
  • High School Diploma/GED or higher plus 3+ year Technical/trade certification

Nice To Haves

  • 6+ months of prior experience in the following areas:
  • Electronics equipment troubleshooting, installation repair and operation of semiconductor manufacturing technology.
  • ERT training and certification.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and evaluate operating data to make on‑line adjustments to equipment.
  • Ensure processes are continuously optimized for efficiency and quality.
  • Run lots in a qualitative manner while maintaining the highest production standards.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Manage spare parts and support ongoing production operations.
  • Lead improvement initiatives and resolve nonstandard events.
  • Review technological health and stability of systems to support uninterrupted operations.
  • Manage buddy, trainer, and certifier levels within the team.
  • Update and maintain training manuals to ensure personnel follow current procedures and best practices.
  • Participate in safety forums.
  • Serve on the Emergency Response Team, reinforcing a strong safety culture.
  • Perform tasks ranging from narrowly defined, routine work requiring limited judgment to complex, nonstandard assignments requiring broader decision‑making.
  • Complete routine work with general instructions and approach new tasks with detailed guidance to support professional growth.
