As a Manufacturing & Test Engineer in Waukesha, WI, you will: Design and manage new test fixtures for time delay relays and phase monitors Develop adaptable test systems using PLC programming, relay/phase‑monitor knowledge, and mechanical interfaces Create operator‑friendly interfaces that prevent product damage and ensure accurate pass/fail results Design and improve manufacturing processes for electrical and metal‑fabrication equipment Select, evaluate, and optimize machinery, tools, and equipment Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies Develop standardized work instructions, procedures, and documentation Support NPI with manufacturability and DFMA input Partner with quality teams on control plans, inspections, and testing protocols Troubleshoot production issues and support daily manufacturing operations Lead cost‑reduction and efficiency initiatives Collaborate across engineering, production, procurement, and supply chain Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a safe work environment Work collaboratively with suppliers and Applied partners Contribute to projects that impact communities in Milwaukee, Brookfield, New Berlin, Pewaukee, Muskego, Wauwatosa, West Allis, Greenfield, Greendale, Franklin, Menomonee Falls, Sussex, Hartland, Oconomowoc, and Germantown, and the greater Milwaukee Metro area Apply your skills in a dynamic environment that values ownership and innovation
