About The Position

Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may
include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment. Comprehends and interprets a variety of
technical specifications, terms and documents. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in

performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.

Requirements

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 0-3 years of prior relevant experience.
• J-STD-001 experience.
• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Based on site requirements, must be able to obtain a US Security Clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience reading blueprints.
• Experience using magnification instruments.

Responsibilities

• Ability to read and understand description of manufacture (DM, DOM) for operation assembly instruction.
• Ability to handle small parts with tweezers and/ or special tools
• Operate various types of assembly equipment (assembly machines, press stakes, air screw drivers, etc.) with proper training.
• Visually inspect components and subassemblies for obvious defects prior to, during, and after assembled.
• Check completed assemblies for conformance with quality standards and DMs.
• Maintain assembly/ quality records paperwork as required.
