About The Position

The Marine Timekeeper is responsible for reviewing and accurately correcting time and labor data for marine and on-call workgroups. This role supports Marine Operations by ensuring job hours, mileage, and related information are recorded correctly in AS400 to ensure accurate processing for payroll and/or billing purposes. This position plays a critical support role in daily marine operations by maintaining accurate workforce records and assisting with general administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Review employee hours, job codes, and mileage within the AS400 based on job worksheets to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Verify job numbers, cost codes, and crew assignments prior to entry
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies with field supervisors or operations leadership
  • Maintain organized records of time sheets and supporting documentation
  • Meet daily and weekly time submission deadlines
  • Serve as a point of contact for marine time-related questions
  • Assist Operations with tracking labor hours
  • Support reporting needs related to workforce hours and job tracking
  • Ensure time records align with company policies and operational standards
  • Provide general administrative support to Marine Operations as needed
  • Maintain spreadsheets, logs, and tracking documents
  • Assist with filing, documentation, and internal communications
