About the position

At Saucy! by KFC, we're rewriting the fast-casual playbook with bold flavors, boundary-pushing service, and flawless execution. As we scale rapidly, we need powerhouse leaders to bring that Saucy magic to life in every market. The Market Coach is a field-focused, multi-unit leader responsible for building top-performing restaurant teams, championing operational excellence, and fueling guest-obsessed experiences. You'll directly support Area Coaches and Saucy! Experience Directors (RGMs), hold teams accountable to performance targets, and drive initiatives that set the bar across service, culture, and profitability. This is a high-impact, high-energy role built for bold leaders who thrive on results and rally others to win.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a portfolio of Saucy! restaurants, ensuring each location meets or exceeds performance goals in sales, labor, controllables, and guest satisfaction.
  • Coach Saucy! Area Coaches and Experience Directors (RGMs) to lead highly engaged teams with a shared focus on winning every day.
  • Analyze performance metrics and P&Ls to identify gaps, guide corrective actions, and optimize results.
  • Lead regular business reviews and field visits to ensure every restaurant operates on-brand and on-point.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on New Store Openings, product launches, and promotional rollouts.
  • Ensure flawless execution of operational systems, food safety standards, and team training expectations.
  • Identify and scale best practices that elevate the guest experience and operational readiness.
  • Monitor brand compliance through audits and walkthroughs, creating action plans for any gaps.
  • Build a people-first culture rooted in accountability, recognition, and continuous development.
  • Attract, hire, and retain high-potential leaders by driving a strong talent bench across your market.
  • Champion culture, DE&I, and employee engagement by being visible, approachable, and authentic in the field.
  • Serve as a coach and mentor, empowering RGMs to grow, lead boldly, and deliver outstanding results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent operational experience.
  • 8-10+ years in restaurant operations with multi-unit leadership.
  • Strong experience in coaching, P&L ownership, and team development.
