About The Position

The Market Intelligence & Analytics Manager will be an integral member of the market intelligence team in the company. The candidate will apply data analytics and chemical informatics to analyze complex chemical and market data, and deliver data-driven insights into market trends, competitive landscape, and new business opportunities to support strategic business decisions and create competitive advantage for business growth.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (M.S.), preferably doctoral degree (Ph.D.), in chemistry, chemical informatics, pharmaceutical science or related scientific/technical field of study.
  • 2-5 years professional experience in pharmaceutical industry, with relevant experience in market intelligence capacity preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical and CRDMO (Contract Research Development and Manufacturing Organization) industry.
  • Strong expertise in analyzing large and complex datasets and translating those into meaningful business insights. High proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools, chemical databases, etc.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary groups (sales, marketing, senior management, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Leads analysis on complex data sets from scientific literature, chemical databases, and market reports to generate deep product and market insights.
  • Leads analytics on business growth opportunities, market trends and forecasts through advanced data tools.
  • Develops competitive intelligence and competitor strategies using market intelligence techniques.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional groups to effectively drive the intelligence-to-action cycle.
