About The Position

Overview: RN Regional Resource Pool: Flexible Work Schedule, Self-Scheduling, Premium Pay, and Resource Pool Differential The Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse (WOCN) is a specialized healthcare professional responsible for providing expert care to patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and continence issues. The WOCN should have specialized training and certification, as well as excellent communication, critical thinking, and clinical skills. This position is vital for improving patient outcomes, enhancing comfort, and promoting independence in individuals facing complex care challenges. Must reside within 75 miles and 90 minutes of two hospitals in the Northern Virginia or Blue Ridge region: Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA; Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, VA; and Sentara Martha Jefferson in Charlottesville, VA.

Requirements

• BSN (Required)
• Registered Nurse License (Required)
• All Direct Care RN's required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Requires a minimum of three years of experience.
• Must reside within 75 miles and 90 minutes of two hospitals in the Northern Virginia or Blue Ridge region: Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA; Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, VA; and Sentara Martha Jefferson in Charlottesville, VA.
