About the position

As a Marketing Administrator for the Aerospace Aftermarket Repair Station at Parker Aerospace, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and preparing proposals in response to customer requests. This position involves analyzing customer inquiries, coordinating information from various departments, and ensuring that responses meet the required standards. You will also be responsible for researching historical data, interfacing with customers, and leading proposal response teams. Your contributions will be vital in supporting major marketing efforts and enhancing customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze customers' requests to determine the nature of the request and the best format for the response.
  • Coordinate development and compilation of information from functional departments to respond to customer requests.
  • Research and analyze historical data to support the division's response to customer inquiries.
  • Interface with customer representatives to gather information on pricing and develop pricing justification.
  • Coordinate efforts of the proposal response team, ensuring on-schedule performance.
  • Provide contract information by researching data and resolving discrepancies.
  • Develop and conduct product presentations for seminars, trade shows, and customer facilities.
  • Utilize continuous improvement principles to provide value to customers and the company.
  • Maintain working knowledge of division and corporate philosophies and customer issues.
  • Collect, analyze, and maintain data for marketing reports and proposals.
  • Comply with federal, state, and aerospace industry regulations.

Requirements

  • Aftermarket/repair station experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Two or more years of related marketing or proposal management experience.
  • Knowledge of principles, industry practices, regulations, and policies related to proposal response and management.
  • Ability to work on a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Proficiency using business software applications (e.g., databases, spreadsheets).
  • Ability to write proposals that conform to prescribed style and format.

  • Knowledge of related legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies and recommend changes to procedures.
