About the position

This position is responsible for supporting omnichannel app activations, casino promotions, and events. Responsibilities

  • Support omnichannel app activations, casino promotions, and events.
  • Assist the Marketing Department with generating App activations for PENN Play, ESPN BET, iGaming, and social gaming.
  • Maintain up-to-date information for all digital initiatives, promotions, and app features.
  • Promote the PENN Play program enthusiastically.
  • Execute department and property guest service initiatives.
  • Handle telephone calls and refer them appropriately.
  • Welcome bus patrons and manage coupon distribution.
  • Perform light clerical work including envelope stuffing, filing, faxing, and copying.
  • Direct guests to appropriate areas and assist with their needs.
  • Educate guests on the loyalty program and assist with related questions.
  • Create or reissue PENN Play cards or companion cards as needed.
  • Promote special events or promotions.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve Marketing performance and customer service.
  • Build partnerships with other key operating and marketing areas.
  • Present oneself as a credit to Ameristar & Penn Entertainment.
  • Adhere to all company, state, and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Work a flexible schedule.
  • Handle dissatisfied guests professionally.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • One to three years' experience in casino/hotel, guest service, or telemarketing required.
  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members at all levels.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proactively approach guests on the casino floor to promote app adoption.
