Job Description
Under guidance, this position provides broad-based market analysis and support with mainly a domestic focus. This role gathers data on market aspects that can be measured and assessed for performance, and identifies those aspects that are related. This role seeks ways to refine reports for improved efficiency and metrics to enhance the Companys ability to closely watch business performance and forecasts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develops, runs and analyzes ad-hoc and standard market reports that provide insights to support business objectives and maintain competitive advantage. Reports may evaluate products, competitors, customers, or markets.
* Reviews data and calculations to ensure report accuracy and data integrity.
* Works with others to collect data to identify trends and the relationships between market factors and results.
* With others, designs reports that meet data analysis needs.
* Prepares reports with graphics and/or text as requested. These may include order result summaries, probability of meeting forecasts, forecasts across all production lines, and backlog analysis.
* Builds and utilizes a strategic forecasting system.
* Audits data by area. Monitors and audits data uploads and updates to ensure system and data integrity.
* Uses software, such as Order Manager and Sales Logix, or external reports industry data.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Requires bachelor's degree in business or related field.
* Prefers minimum of two years of marketing experience, including cooperative education or internships.
* Prefers familiarity with large manufacturing environments and gas compression industry.
