Job Description
Tru-Flex LLC has been manufacturing metal hose since 1962. Tru-Flex is growing with operations in West Lebanon and Whitestown, Indiana and a new European manufacturing facility opening in 2015. Our niche is the manufacturing of customized flexible tubing for commercial vehicle exhaust systems. We have proven to be an industry leader by remaining committed to quality, customer service, on-time delivery, vast engineering capabilities and innovative design.
The Customer Service Associate will provide customer service through daily activities in customer accounts, process Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), reporting, returns and assist in solving problems as part of the ongoing training process.
Job Requirements
1. Handle customer accounts by confirming orders, follow up and responding to customer enquiries on past and future orders.
2. Review daily order via EDI and any manual orders, submit them into Epicor, correct issues, and notify appropriate individuals when manual order entry and EDI is complete. Provide customers with order confirmation, if required.
3. Handle customer returns from beginning inquires through actual product return.
4. Work with other facilities in the Tru-Flex network.
5. Responsible for pricing and/or customer contact updates in Epicor.
6. Assist the Warehouse manager from time to time by picking and packing kits for customer orders.
7. Other related duties as needed.
1. High School Diploma or GED required
2. 1-3 years of experience in customer service within a manufacturing environment
3. Advanced knowledge in MS Excel
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills
5. Background in training/education is a plus
