About The Position

This role will support the Marketing Team on events, communications, and other related marketing activities to increase lead generation and customer engagement. Success Factors Responsibilities Format whitepapers, eBooks, and other publications using pre-built templates Update and revise brochure content as needed Update and maintain PowerPoint presentations Create social media posts and graphics to support events Build, load, and schedule email newsletters Upload and publish pre-written blog posts to the website Manage and update the website event calendar Perform SEO updates to existing blog posts and web pages Create event registration pages using established templates Upload and process post-event contact lists Validate auto-reply email functionality Perform list validation and maintain accurate data updates People Management/Relationships Takes initiative to be a team player (seeks out opportunities to help others) Treats everyone with respect Develops loyalty and trust with team Successfully adapts to different personalities and working styles Proactively and effectively communicates information regarding status issues to team members Holds self-accountable for assigned work; seeks continuous feedback to learn and develop in role; is open to new ideas and suggestions Business Growth (if applicable) Possesses an understanding of RKL’s business (service lines, competitors) and client service capabilities and the impact of technology upon the firm’s growth and success

Requirements

  • Knowledge of basic marketing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to adapt quickly to urgent tasks

  • Experience or studies in Marketing, Communications or Related field; High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • 1-2 years’ experience supporting a Marketing team and executives
  • Experience with the following platforms: Adobe Design Applications, Canva, HubSpot, and Salesforce
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Basic understanding of accounting/finance functions
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position as needed
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and at client offices to access file cabinets, office machinery etc.
  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner and exchange information with internal and external customers as needed
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours and weekends as needed
  • Ability to travel to local and non-local clients and events as needed, overnight travel may be required
