All internship positions are designed to give college students an opportunity to apply techniques learned in an academic setting while obtaining new skills. This is a paid internship offering full-time hours during the summer months. All interns are required to conclude the program by giving a formal presentation on their work. Please note that no relocation assistance or sponsorship is provided for the internship program at this time. Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our product marketing team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content creation, email scheduling, list segmentation, email campaign optimization, and A/B testing strategies, as well as video quality assurance and deployment preparation. The selected intern will play a key role in auditing and refining marketing automation pathways, ensuring the effectiveness of nurture campaign efforts, and working with the video team in QA and polishing existing videos to ensure they are ready for deployment. This position is ideal for a student who is eager to expand their understanding of digital marketing and video content strategies while contributing to real-world projects.

Requirements

  • Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the internship, such as Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Must have completed (at minimum) the sophomore year of college
  • Must be able to work full-time during the duration of the internship program
  • Based in Minneapolis, MN
  • Basic knowledge of marketing principles and strategies.
  • Familiarity with CRM integration systems and customer segmentation.
  • Knowledge of email personalization and dynamic content strategies.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • A background in Life Sciences is a plus.
  • Familiarity with video production and editing is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience with email marketing campaigns (academic projects or prior internships preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Audit and analyze current marketing automation pathways, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
  • Refresh and optimize email campaigns, improving design, content, and user experience.
  • Conduct A/B testing on various campaign elements, such as subject lines, calls to action, and email layouts, to identify the most effective strategies.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analytics to improve lead nurturing and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, product management and regional marketing, to align strategies and campaigns with business objectives.
  • Perform quality assurance (QA) checks on existing video content to identify any necessary edits, improvements, or refinements.
  • Collaborate with the video production team to polish video materials, ensuring they are aligned with brand guidelines and ready for deployment.
