Primary Purpose
Responsible for Regional/National analysis of customers, vendors, territories and competitors for Lagasse Value of Wholesaling/ Business Development division. The job impacts all Associates within the Region/National Account group and affects Sales results
down to the customer level. Assist the Project Manager of Value Chain in analysis of sales data, trends and results for customers and suppliers participating in the Lagasse program. This can be done both reactively and proactively using the data warehouse,
inside and outside market intelligence. Product line and SKU analysis for additional sales opportunities and customer conversions will also be part of the responsibilities. Participate in RBT when necessary. Become a CRT leader. Analyze margin results and
impact of price changes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conducts quantitative, strategic, and financial analyses of current and future business initiatives needed to support VOW business solutions and decisions.
- May performs either ABC and/or Brio analysis to produce financial forecasting or trend analysis on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis.
- Analyzes margin results and impact of price changes; reports findings up to VOW management.
- Reports, monitors and analyzes financials to highlight market potential/high performing customers.
- Provides a point of contact to the customer to resolve any data issues around pricing, deductions or associated items.
- Creates ad hoc queries and resulting reports as requested by department or area?s customers.
- Margin reporting/management. Identify low margin lines and SKU?s.

Knowledge/Skills/Ability/Other
- May have experience in any of the following functional areas: Merchandising, Cost-to-Serve, Category Management, Supply Chain.
- Experience using financial data warehouses and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Hyperion, and/or Trend.
- Intermediate/Advanced skill with MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Microsoft Access is a plus.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor?s degree (Finance, Logistics, Operations Management); MBA preferred.
- 2-5 years? work experience in an accounting, finance, business analysis, customer service, or sales role
