About the position

The Internal Corporate Communications Senior Associate is a strategic position with a mission to elevate employee engagement and to inform, inspire and connect our people across all levels of the organization, with particular emphasis on executive communications. As a trusted communications advisor, amplifying our leadership voice to build a winning culture, this role will help our associates understand Unisys' solutions, financial performance and corporate initiatives, while also supporting C-Suite communications that shape company direction and culture. This senior role will develop and implement comprehensive executive communication strategies, craft high-level messaging, and manage sensitive communications for leadership. Working with the highest levels of the organization, you will translate complex business strategies into compelling narratives that resonate across the enterprise through executive presentations, town halls, leadership messages, intranet articles, internal social media campaigns, and other communications channels. Additionally, the Internal Corporate Communications Senior Associate will lead operational efficiencies through advanced project management tools and collaboration technology. With exceptional attention to detail and strategic timing awareness, this role will adhere to the team's editorial calendar to balance message timing, audience segmentation, and organizational context while ensuring C-Suite communications receive appropriate prioritization. A master storyteller with executive presence, the corporate communications team will rely on you to bring sophisticated ideas and strategic energy to our projects, along with data analytics capabilities. As a seasoned professional, you should bring your polished project management expertise with a passion for compelling storytelling. You will drive projects through the full communications life cycle, from strategic conception to flawless execution, managing complex stakeholder relationships and expectations along the way. As the Internal Corporate Communications Senior Associate, you will work closely and collaboratively with internal teams from across the enterprise to drive awareness for major corporate initiatives and provide communications counsel to executive leadership. You are part of the Marketing and Communications organization – a highly collaborative team of professionals who work closely with the business units and C-suite leaders to grow the reputation of Unisys and execute strategies that align to company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Developing, writing, and executing executive communications strategies that align with company objectives and amplify leadership voice
  • Crafting sophisticated, nuanced communications for C-Suite executives, including speeches, presentations, talking points, and correspondence
  • Providing strategic communications counsel to senior leaders on complex organizational matters
  • Leading the creation, editing, and innovation of communications solutions across multiple channels to inspire, inform and connect our people
  • Analytical acumen to ensure data-driven deployment of communications
  • Managing strategic communications deliverables for high-profile corporate initiatives and campaigns
  • Designing and activating communications plans in support of executive priorities and critical corporate initiatives
  • Serving as a communications coach and mentor to junior team members and internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, including executive communications experience
  • Advanced content creation expertise – exceptional written and verbal communications skills with the ability to craft compelling executive-level messaging
  • Experience developing and implementing C-Suite communication strategies
  • Agency, journalism, or executive communications experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or journalism
  • Strategic creative concepting and narrative development for executive audiences
  • Deep knowledge of current and evolving communications trends, particularly as they relate to executive and leadership communications
  • Proven track record successfully leading complex, high-visibility projects from strategic ideation to completion
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple high-priority projects with competing deadlines
  • Trusted advisor who can confidently engage with and counsel senior executives and leadership teams
  • Advanced experience with communications metrics and strategic outcomes analysis
  • Impeccable attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
