Marketing & Communication Specialist
About The Position
The Marketing & Communications Specialist supports the execution of marketing initiatives across Securityplus Federal Credit Union by coordinating campaigns, developing content, and ensuring consistent brand delivery across internal and external channels. This role translates marketing strategy into execution by supporting campaign implementation, communications, and cross-functional marketing efforts. Working closely with the VP of Performance Marketing & Sales Strategy, the position plays a key role in ensuring marketing initiatives are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with organizational priorities. The Marketing & Communications Specialist also supports storytelling efforts by capturing and sharing the Securityplus brand through communications, digital content, and community engagement, helping maintain a consistent and compelling presence across all channels.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or marketing support roles
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to collaborate across departments and support cross-functional initiatives
- Basic understanding of marketing channels, content development, and brand consistency
- Self-motivated with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication, or related field
- Experience supporting marketing campaigns, communications, or digital content
- Familiarity with social media platforms, website content management, or marketing tools
- Experience in financial services or community-focused organizations
