The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and production of creative material including but not limited to product brochures, point of purchase and promotional material, direct mail, sales tools, exterior graphics, and web graphics. The Marketing Coordinator will also maintain and organize an extensive library of images and provides image assistance to dealers, media, and vendors. This person will also support the company’s sales and marketing efforts by tracking and organizing, assisting with presentation materials, planning meetings, and assisting with various marketing communications related projects such as owners group communications, social media projects, public relations efforts and supporting the Marketing Manager in various marketing and communications-related projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field desired, or equivalent qualification or a combination of job-related education
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of design software including Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office software; PowerPoint, excel spreadsheets and ability to create and maintain databases and presentations
  • Ability to use Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple projects from concept to completion
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals, results-oriented and self-driven
  • Excellent written & verbal communication within team and cross-functionally
  • Highly organized and effective in managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Effective negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions such as in the office, in the warehouse/on production floor, outside in hot or cold temperatures, in the water and/or multiple locations for events, photography and/or videography
  • Ability to travel and work long/extended hours when necessary, due to marketing events
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 45lbs individually or up to 90lbs team lift

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Google Analytics and Sprout Social a plus
  • Creativity, marketing knowledge, boating affinity a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assists in planning and carrying out major events such as annual dealer meetings, photo shoots, training seminars and boat shows
  • Create and send ads to national and regional magazines, as well as digital media and social content
  • Help maintain and create elements of the website and write supporting copy, advertisements, emails, and other formats
  • Assist with presentation materials such as sales product training, dealer councils, and dealer meetings
  • Assists with tracking and organizing information such as web analytics, marketing ROI, promotion activities, competitive information, dealer website audits, etc.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing projects from internal and external venues
  • Maintain and organize an extensive library of images and provide image assistance to dealers, media, and vendors
  • Conduct research of market trends, customer behavior, and competitor landscape, and prepare reports by analyzing and summarizing data
  • Assist as needed in all marketing functions including marketing materials development, organization of image and video assets, and developing promotions
  • Support Marketing Manager in establishing and evaluating marketing strategy by setting objectives, organizing promotional presentations and assisting in updating calendars
