About the position

Omni Tempe Hotel is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to join our Sales & Marketing team. The Marketing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in promoting our hotel, with a strong focus on promoting our rooms, meeting space, and food and beverage offerings. This individual will be responsible for curating and creating engaging content for our social media channels, building our online following, and ensuring all marketing materials are on brand. This role will also support the General Manager and executive team with creating printed and digital collateral and presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and curate compelling content for the hotel's social media channels, with a primary focus on food and beverage promotions.
  • Create, schedule, and manage posts across various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Utilize Canva, PowerPoint, and Adobe Suite to design visually appealing marketing materials.
  • Take high-quality photographs of hotel events, food, and beverage offerings to use in marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor social media trends and adapt strategies to stay current and engaging.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales & Marketing to develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Analyze social media metrics and provide regular reports on campaign performance.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials and channels.
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of collateral and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in hospitality or marketing is preferred.
  • Proven experience in social media content creation and management.
  • Strong photography skills and an eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Microsoft Office, and the Adobe Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and engage a social media following.
  • Up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and impeccable copy-editing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Hospitality or food and beverage marketing experience is a plus.
